Reblogging this cuz this version always reminds me how sad this song actually is. There’s a huge element of melancholia in it that you don’t really pick up on the studio version.
I haven’t listen to this one for years, and when I now hear it again- I’ve decided. I will slow down. I’ve basically lived this record for months now. It’s been fun sometimes but I also know why I’ve been doing it. And now I feel like there’s something new in my life that I wanna try out, it’s called love. I can’t keep on like this if I want it to work out. Hearing the hidden sadness in this song again made me see the hidden sadness in my life.
